Maast Mobilises Ngamia Jack-Up to Support Offshore Gas Wellhead Workover Program in Tanzania

August 2023

Maast Maritime Kenya recently mobilised a self-elevating work platform from Mombasa to Mnazi bay in Tanzania to support an offshore gas wellhead workover program.

The project demonstrates the company's ability to service the needs of oil and gas operators in the region and comply with the most stringent health, safety, and environmental standards.

The company's refurbished platform was mobilised on the back of a supply tug from Mombasa to Mnazi bay. The spread stopped in Tanga to load the client equipment required for the well workover and then relocated to the wellheads.

Critical to the successful undertaking of the project was coordinating with the client and parastatals, to ensure that the equipment was in the right place at the right time. We are able to call on our vastly experienced crew and operators, who can react quickly to client demands and support the back-office planning to meet expectations.
